What would I look like with box braids?
That is the whole point of this. Add a selfie, pick box braids, and you get a photo of yourself wearing them about a minute later — your face, your skin tone, your hairline. Not a model who happens to have your hair type.
Does it work on 4C hair?
Yes, and that is what it was built for. Every style in the catalogue is photographed on each hair type it suits, from type 1 through 4C, so you can see knotless braids on 4A hair next to the same braids on 4C and pick the one you mean. Most try-on tools were built on straight hair and bolted the rest on afterwards, which is why braids so often come back looking painted on.
Can I try a style I saw on someone else?
Screenshot it and add the photo. We take the cut, length and texture from their picture and put them on you. You choose whether to take their hair colour with it or keep your own — and nothing else from their photo carries over.
Will it change my face or lighten my skin?
No. The hair changes and nothing else. No slimmed jaw, no smoothed features, no quietly lightened skin. If that happens it is a bug, and we would like to hear about it.
What happens to my photo?
It is deleted from our storage within 72 hours and is never used to train a model. There is no account and no password, so there is nothing to leak. You can delete everything from Settings whenever you like.
How much is it?
Your first five looks are free. After that it is a weekly or yearly subscription, and you see the price before you are asked for anything. Cancel any time in your App Store settings.
